First Christmas

Well as most of you are reading this know, we had a tremendous amount of snow this year, which made for a pretty amazing first Christmas for little one. On Christmas Eve we drove up to the farm to spend time with the Ehrsam side of the family. It was so good to see my cousins Leslie and Trent, it has been way too long. Sophie was dressed for the occation.

We headed back on Boxing Day (the day after Christmas for you Americans), to spend some time with Dad, Amy and Jake. We had such a great time. Sophie was my lucky charm at winning at cards the whole night. It was sad to see Amy leave, but I am sure she will be back soon. Here is a video of Sophie with one of her favorite presents. She really enjoys the ones that light up and make a lot of noise (we are super excited about this).

Giggle

Here is our little girl during Christmas with her grandma. So funny!

Yummy Food

On December 20th we started "real" food in the form of rice cereal. I follow the directions on the box and it was so runny that it went every where. On the second night we made it a little thicker and it went down much better. Although, in the pictures Sophie is still shocked by the whole experience.

Halloween

In an attempt to get caught up on the blog, we are going to focus on the major holidays and events. Here is our little pumpkin on Halloween.

The whole family attempted to be festive to hit the Prairie Village Trick or Treating.

However, we did not gather any candy because that would just be strange for grown adults to take candy away from other children (although it did cross my mind).
Happy Halloween (a couple months late)
