Little Angel

Although I am a little late, here are some pictures from Sophia's baptism last weekend. I didn't really prepare myself for this at all. I mean I knew what was going to happen, splash a little water on the head and say a few words. No big deal right? Wrong!! I didn't realize how emotional I would be or how much it would mean to me. It was so wonderful to see my angel being blessed and for Andy and I to promise her life to God. It reminded us how blessed we truly are. We are so thankful to have such a wonderful family and for Sophia Godparents to be so loving.

Here we are with Sophie's Godparents Amy and Andrew. Unfortunately, Sophie's other Godparents, Steve and Hannah, had to go back to England by this time. They were missed.

Andy is not a huge fan of this next picture, for some reason she reminds him of a settler back in the day. I just thinks she looks precious.

Baby Wildcat

A new Wildcat fan is born, Sophie officially experienced her first football game. Luckily Bill pulled out a win for Sophie (of course the world revolves around her now!). Here are some pictures from the game. Grandma decked her out for the day. I think purple is her color. Check out her socks, love it!!

Andy is a true Wildcat fan now and here we are at the game. Soph wasn't a huge fan of touchdowns (a little too loud for her), but don't worry we will get over that soon.

The whole family from across the pond joined in on the action. They were very impressed with the pride of Wildcat land, the K-State marching band. I can't say that I understand this, normally I am out in the parking lot during their performance.

Here is just a bonus picture of the purple Bud Light cans they had for the games. Normally, I am a Miller Light girl, but for purple cans I am willing to change. Go Cats and welcome back Bill!!

Sorry, it has been forever since my last post. We have had an exciting couple weeks with the family from across the pond. Here are the other Michael kids. Sophie was a little grumpy, but Jed and Katie just look adorable.

The first week the family traveled to St. Louis and then down to the Lake of the Ozarks. We had a ton of fun playing on the water. Here is Sophie in her swim suit. Even though she couldn't go out in the sun she still looked the part. She is going to be skiing before I know it.

We did end up taking Sophie on the boat, although it was the most nerve racking 15 minutes of my life. Andy and I spent the whole time discussing who would have to swim baby girl to the shore if something happened to the boat. Of course everything went fine and we made it home safely.
